INTRODUCTION
Adventure Works Cycles is a bicycle manufacturing company. We offer high-quality bike parts and accessories at a reasonable price. We offer bike parts for everyone from men to women and much more
ADVENTURE WORKS data set was utilized to analyze the reasons behind declines in sales and customer satisfaction and look for solutions to address them. The data set provides detailed information on customer demographics, customer feedback, and sales figures. By analyzing this data, it is possible to identify patterns and trends in customer behavior and determine what factors are leading to declines in sales and customer satisfaction. The data set was collected from customers and employees of ADVENTURE WORKs in order to gain insights into their customer experiences, sales trends, and customer satisfaction levels. Through the analysis of this data, it was possible to identify key areas that could be improved upon in order to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

We must identify which products sell well and which do not. By looking at the data, we can see which products are selling well and which are not. This can help us determine which products need to be improved, which region has the most sales and which region has the least sales. By identifying which products are selling well and which ones are not, we can better understand which regions need more attention and marketing. This can help us understand what the customer needs and desires to help increase sales and customer satisfaction.

The total sales generated on all product was $109.8

From the chart it can be noted that the category with the highest sales for Adventure Work Company is bike related products, a sum of $94,620,526.22 million was generated from bike-related items, and accessory-related products have been the least generated with $1,272,057.89 million total sales generated.

This is likely due to the popularity of biking as a form of exercise or transportation, as well as the wide range of bike-related products available, such as helmets, apparel, and accessories. Furthermore, the relatively low cost of bike-related items makes them an attractive option for

From the above figure it can be seen that based on accessories category, the product Hitch Rack- 4- Bike was sold more with a total sales of $237,096.16 and the Touring Tire Tube had the least sales generated with a total of $7,425.12 .

From the bike category, the most demanded product was the Mountain -200 Black, 38, with a total sale of $4,400,592.80 and the least purchased product was the Mountain 500 Black, 52, being the least purchased with a total sale of $96,982.20.

In the clothing category, the product that was purchased more was the Long- Sleeve Logo Jersey, L, with total sales of $198,754.98 and Mountain Bike Socks, L with the least sales generated $513.00.

In the component category HL Mountain Frame -Silver 38 generated a sum of 930,780.68 and LL Road & Saddle generated a sum of 162.72.

Total sale and order quantity of accessories in the year 2017 was $364, while in the year 2018, $1186 was made, in 2019, $20406 was generated and in 2020, $19255 was generated.

Total sale and order quantity of bikes in 2017 was $3544, while in 2018, $9710 bikes were made, in 2019, $16167 bikes were generated, and in 2020, $10584 bikes were generated.

Total sale and order quantity of clothing in the year 2017 was $614, while in the year 2018, $3482 was made, in 2019, $10110 was generated and 2020, $7162 was generated

Total sale and order quantity of components in 2017 was $835, while in 2018, $5031 was made, in 2019, $8859 was generated and in 2022, $3962 was generated.

All four categories of products produced by the company were highly purchased in the United States and Germany had the least sales amongst three of the categories but products under the component category, Australia had the lowest sale.

This could be due to the fact that components are not as commonly used in Australia as they are in the US and Germany, and thus the demand for components in Australia is lower than in the other two countries.

Accessory, component and clothing had the highest sales from warehouse resellers, while bike had the highest sales from value added reseller.

This is likely because warehouse resellers offer a lower price point and a greater variety of products, while value added resellers are more likely to specialize in certain products, such as bikes, and offer more personalized customer service

Conclusion

AdventureWorks Company made the highest sales in the in the year 2019 for bike related products and United States been the highest consumer of these products and warehouse business been their highest generating sellers while they recorded the least sale from accessories and in the year 2018 the recorded the least sales and amongst the countries where this product where sold Germany sold the least and specialty bike shop sold the least of product. This could be attributed to the fact that AdventureWorks had recently released a new line of bikes in 2019 and the US had the most access to them. Additionally, warehouse businesses typically have lower prices and more stock, which likely drove up sales. In 2018, Germany may not have had access to the same range of products and specialty bike shops may not have been able to compete with the lower prices of the warehouses and which ones are doing well. We can then focus our efforts on improving the products that are not selling well, which can help increase customer satisfaction and sales.
